What NRC rating do Kynora Decor acoustic panels have?

Our MDF acoustic wall panels achieve an NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) rating of 0.8, meaning they absorb 80% of sound that hits them. This is one of the highest NRC ratings available for decorative acoustic panels.

What sizes do your acoustic panels come in?

We stock two main formats: 600x600mm square panels (sold in boxes of 5, covering 1.8m²) and 2400x600mm full-height panels (sold in boxes of 2). Both formats are available in multiple colours including Gray, Oak, Teak, Coffee Brown and White.

Are your acoustic panels easy to install yourself?

Yes. Our panels use a snap-fit system that makes DIY installation straightforward. Apply adhesive to the back, press against the wall, and the panels click together at the edges. No specialist tools are required for most NZ wall types.

What is the difference between MDF and PET acoustic panels?

MDF panels have a rigid wood-effect finish with felt backing and are great for most home and commercial applications. PET panels are made from recycled polyester fibre — they're softer in appearance, highly eco-friendly, and slightly more flexible in installation.
