What Is a 90-Degree Cabinet Hinge For?
Blind-corner base cabinets sit in a kitchen corner, partially hidden behind the adjacent cabinet run. The blind-corner door must swing inward, away from the adjacent unit, so its opening arc clears the adjoining cabinet face. A 90-degree angled hinge arm is recessed at a right angle to allow the door to sit flush against the adjacent cabinet when closed, then swing clear when opened.
